About Christy del Strother
Hi!
I am Christy and 16 years ago, I began my career as a music teacher in a secondary school. I loved supporting young people to develop their talents and passions through performing arts. Over the years, I moved to special needs education and found my passion for supporting children therapeutically and creatively.
I studied with APAC to achieve my post graduate Diploma in Play Therapy and love working with children and families to support their development, mental health and wellbeing. Being able to offer safe, connected time with a child is a privilege and I am grateful to be able to be a safe person for them.

I am registered with PTUK (Play Therapy UK) and work within their ethical framework. I am on the register of Play and Creative Arts Therapists that has been accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
I have an enhanced DBS and attend regular clinical supervision to ensure the highest standards of professional practice.
I work in the West Midlands and have supported children in areas such as Solihull, Coventry, Coleshill and South Birmingham.
